You know, at this blog, and in life, when it comes to morning TV shows, “The View” gets all the headlines for sucking. And, of course, rightfully so, but it was brought to my attention recently (at one of my many motivational speaking engagements) that “The Today Show” has added 4th hour AND it’s hosted by Kathy Lee Gifford (and someone named Hota Kotb.) Well, the network suckwars are on.
Wow. A 4th hour of the Today Show with Kathy Lee Gifford. That’s an effort for “View-like” suckage. Obviously, the first question that enters one’s mind is, why?
Why a 4th hour of the Today show? The gods of suck were more than happy with 3 hours. Actually, three hours was probably more than they thought they could ask for. 4 hours? I mean it’s an embarrassment of suck-riches. Then to bring Kathy Lee Gifford in to host? Seriously, what a shitstorm.
Now before I get too far along here let me say I have never seen any of the 4th hour of the Today Show hosted by Kathy Lee Gifford- nor would I ever watch it in a million years. How can I say that its existence is a major victory for the forces of suck? Because I have seen The Today Show and can only imagine what a 4th hour of that would be like, and then, I add Kathy Lee Gifford, in my mind, to that mess.
Who decided to throw this thing together? Who said- “Look, we can’t get anything going in this time slot so let’s do ANOTHER hour of the Today Show”? And then who ELSE said- “Only if we can get Kathy Lee Gifford.”?
The 4th hour of the Today Show is on Monday through Friday at 10 AM!

I AGREE 4TH HOUR SUCKS SO DOES KATHY LEE AND MEREDITH, NBC STATES KATHY LEE WITH HODA KOTB,COME ON THEY HAVE PUT KATHY LEE BEFORE HODA. COME ON HODA WAS THERE FIRST AND IS A MUCH NICER PERSON THAN KATHY. AMERICA WAS FED UP WITH KATHY LEE ON THE REGIS SHOW. SHE THINKS SHE IS THE QUEEN OF TELEVISION AND A FUNNY BEAUTY QUEEN, SHE COULDN'T BE MORE WRONG.

This hour is light and fun and I like both Hoda and Kathie Lee. It's certainly more entertaining than many of the "soaps"!!
I love this fast-paced entertainment hour. Kathy Lee and Hoda are all about the fun and I have a big smile on my face watching it.
ugh! kathie lee...I stoped watching it she is so rude and thinks she knows everything.she is anoying..get her old wrinkly butt of the air asap!
Krassy Lee is the reason I won't even touch NBC in the AM. Koda should be paid three times more for putting up with the self aborbent bitch and her name should appear first! Gifford is a stoooopid bitch and I hate her.

I don't even know how either one of these ladies got on the air. They are the lousiest excuse for entertainment I have ever seen. Kathy Lee can't shutup and Hoda...what is her purpose othen than making stupid faces?
"Suck" came to mean what it currently means thanks to people who won't enjoy themselves in the sack. "Why," they sneer, "do you think they call it a 'job'?"
I agree with Mr. Sinatra, who called it "an art."

"Southern Mommy" is correct. I don't touch "Today" in the morning. Lauer, Vieira, Roker, Curry-- the lot of them, they all suck. I would have woken up then to Gumbel, Pauley and Scott. The people on "Today" now don't deserve my attention, and they never will. It's "Good Morning America" all the way on ABC.

I'm on the side of Kathy is a pretentious petty woman. This morning they had a wild life guy on and all she kept saying through her nasty lipo lips was how the wild animals needed a bath.
No crap Kathy they are wild Zoo animals.
I agree, they suck. I hate there stupid banter which only they laugh at...it's a classless form of news by two stupid people.
