It’s like the 6th or 7th day and all, and no disrespect to anyone but let’s face it, compared to Christmas, Chanukah sucks.
All right, all right- I said it- sorry I know- its shocking, people don’t like to hear it, but come on- lets be honest Christmas does really kick the ass of Chanukah.
And I’m not just playing favorites here- look at these factors…
Now I know it’s NOT a competition, okay? But if it were, let’s face it- Christmas would be The New York Yankees…and Chanukah would be…like a bunch of Jews taking on the NY Yankees.
Don’t get me wrong- the Jewish people have a lot of great holidays themselves- Yom Kippur is WAY better than October 5th.
Rosh Hashanah? Totally blows away September 27th.
The important thing to realize here is that with its message of charity and love, Christmas is for EVERYONE. Which is a comforting thought for not only the Christian faith, but the Jewish as well- especially since this holiday kicks the ass of theirs, so badly!
